Problem
Tourism is the most important sector in Albania, yet it has always been chaotic and never organized. Even UNESCO site with huge potential lack proper branding. Risi Albania identified Gjirokastra as the most potential region to invest in branding and the region as tourism destination and establish a DMO and they launched an open call.
Solution & Impact
The project of Visit Gjirokastra started three years ago after an open bid among marketing companies. The aim of the project was to develop a brand identity, build and maintain a tourism portal for Qarku of Gjirokastra in cooperation with other tourism stakeholders organized under a Management Board. The work included creating the brand identity, (logo Slogan and color scheme) Website Design and Content, SEO, social media channels aligned with brand. Facebook ads and Google ads. The website is first on Google for its focus keywords and has a community of 30 K+ and a reach of 300 K + in ads and posts. Our consultancy work consisted also in establishing Visit Gjirokastra as Tourism Association.
